We’ve spent the last several weeks (years? how long ago was 2020?!?!) in a period of reflection, redesign, and re-prioritization here at Zabel Acres. As we’ve looked back on what the work has meant and what it can still become we’re returning to the core principles that first inspired this project, lifestyle, and place. We believe in carefully curated craft, mindful making, and deliberate design rooted in experience rather than trend. We believe that form follows function, and brings with it meaning. These values have guided us in every phase of our work, from objects that hold stories to the spaces where life unfolds, and into the projects and companies we partner with.
Over the coming months, we’ll be re-imagining this site, the Zabel Acres Shop, and Matt’s consulting services with a renewed focus on simplicity, sustainability, and sustenance. Our plan is to relaunch the full website and online store in early 2026, offering collections of handcrafted goods and furniture, alongside reflections on process, design, and intentional living. For now, you’ll see placeholder pages and quiet corners taking shape here as we step back into practice with purpose.
We hope this moment of transformation invites you to return with us to what matters most: the discipline of craft, the joy of making, and the care we bring to each piece we share. Stay tuned! If you’d like to connect in the meantime, click Contact.
